Wine Museum
of Canada
A national storydeserves a home.
A national centre dedicated to Canada’s wine culture, agricultural heritage, sustainability, education, and economic potential.
Exploring the history, culture, agriculture, and future of wine in Canada.

Where artifacts, interactivity, experience, education, and innovation converge.
Canada's commercial wine story began in 1866. Since then, our wine industry has come of age. Canada produces internationally recognized cool-climate wines, and has distinct region identities yet there is no national institution to represent that story. The Wine Museum of Canada would close that gap.

A living landmark rooted in place.
The Wine Museum of Canada will be designed with sustainability embedded from the start - shaping its partnerships, materials, resource use, operations, and visitor experience. The goal is not simply to build responsibly, but to create a place that reflects the land, supports its community, and models environmental leadership in daily practice.

Canadian wine is having its moment.
The industry contributes over $10 billion to Canada’s economy, supports nearly 100,000 jobs, and has significant growth still to unlock.
Choosing Canadian wine means choosing a distinct national wine identity, one shaped by land, climate, craft, and character, and increasingly recognized around the world for its quality and diversity. It is a choice rooted in pride, place, and the people shaping Canada’s wine future.
